Dolibass 12 HT

The Dolibass 10 and 12 \"HT\" are the subwoofer variants optimized for home cinema use. They are used, for example, wherever there is a special connection for a subwoofer, such as in A/V receivers or speaker management systems. The HT models have an integrated digital signal processor (DSP) that processes the signal internally. It handles bass linearization down to below 16Hz, upward frequency filtering (low pass), downward limiting (low cut) and limiting at dangerous levels (limiter). In many cases, A/V receivers or loudspeaker management systems take over the complete signal processing themselves. The low-pass filter can be deactivated for this purpose. For other applications, 6-stage switches are available for adjustment. Both the upper cut-off frequency and the slope of the low-pass filter can be set. Last but not least, the polarity can be reversed. The same power amplifier modules are used in the Dolibasses as in the Trifon series models. This amplifier technology enables extremely controlled control of the diaphragms and equalization of the system down to below 16Hz. The 12 model even uses two such power amplifier modules in a so-called bridge circuit. This ensures the necessary power throughput.
