The LS1 is a high-precision monitor that seamlessly combines accuracy with musicality, making it an ideal choice for mastering and mixing. Unlike conventional speakers, it integrates advanced DSP, converters, and amplifiers within one of its legs, creating a complete audio system requiring only an analog or digital input. Its sealed 14-liter cabinet, featuring an 8” magnesium woofer and a 1” dome tweeter, ensures controlled bass down to 35 Hz, while smart DSP calibration maintains a linear frequency response. The system includes a 48/76-bit DSP, AD/DA conversion, digital I/O, and two 180W Class D Hypex NCore amplifiers. An IIR crossover with LR4 slopes at 1550 Hz and phase correction eliminates pre-echo, avoiding the typical \\\"digital\\\" sound of FIR designs. Designed for professional studios, the LS1 also offers a DSP-controlled subwoofer output for seamless low-frequency extension, effectively transforming it into a three-way system with the LS1s or SB1 subwoofer.
