The active version of the Quested HQ210 utilizes the same cabinet as the HQ210 passive, but has a different driver compliment. Featuring two high-power 254mm (10") bass drivers, is the more powerful 75mm (3") midrange as used in the Q410 and a 34mm high frequency softdome. The electronics package is designed for remote rack mounting and consists of three two-channel Quested AP800 amplifiers, each channel providing 450W RMS into 8ohm, and two single channel analogue crossovers. There is also the option of a two-channel digital crossover. T he Q210 is suitable for rooms up to 20 square meters (220 square feet). Applications include mastering suites, post-production, broadcast, and medium-sized control rooms.
